  • Who we are

    The company offers innovative jams, both in the selection of flavours, as well as in the process of
    selection of artisan fruit.

    The process
    The fruits are grown only organically, the same way our grandparents did, in the house gardens. The harveting is done by hand, selecting only the ripe fruits. This facilitates the transformation process, and guarantees that the flavour and perfume of the fruit is mantained at its best. The processing occurs in small batches, in order to reduce the cooking times of the ingredients, which are all natural. Most products contain nothing but fruit and sugar, and the flavorings are also fresh.

    The idea
    The idea was born from the dream of creating, sperimenting, innovating and of finding somethign new, to be able to taste everyday a different flavour, but, at the same time, made of ingredients that we commonly find in our household. The various jams were created through experiences, journeys, research and attentive selection. Ideas are born by chance, during a trip, or when we speak to people from different cultures. With the creation of these small gems we want to bring a little gratitude to the people and the places that inspired our recipes.

    The place
    We chose as our headquarters a small paradise nestled in the quiet hills (the Asolo hills) which helps giving the product the right essence. The place is a croassroad of many travellers, since ancient times, but it has preserved the beauty and naturalness, thus making it ideal to grow the plants; the silence and slowness make it the perfect place for the transformation.

    23-27 October 2014. Le Monfumine is an exhibitor at the International Salone del Gusto in Torino.

    5 October 2014. Le Monfumine represents Monfumo at the 100 horizons fair in Asolo (TV).

    13-15 September 2014. Le Monfumine participates at the Apple fair in Monfumo, and begins a collaboration with the Antique Apple producer's community of Monfumo.

    15 June 2014. Le Monfumine at La corte di Bolzonella – Cittadella (PD)

    24-25 May 2014. Le Monfumine presents the products at the Fiera Quattro Passi in Treviso

    23 May 2014. Le Monfumine begins a collaboration with Federica Costantini (food blogger) and her website "Dolci senza Burro" (sweets without butter).

    21 March 2014. L'Espresso writes about Le Monfumine.

    Tra i Colli Asolani, in un'oasi di silenzio e natura, nella provincia di Treviso, vengono coltivati gli alberi da frutto, da cui si producono Le Monfumine: più che confetture, dei veri e propri concentrati di frutta, combinati ad altre bontà. "Usiamo solo frutta delle nostre coltivazioni", spiega Maddalena Giandomenico, "perché senza un controllo totale sulla materia prima non otterremmo un prodotto di qualità estrema". Le quantità sono piccole e si fa ricerca sulle "cultivar" di frutti che si stanno perdendo, come il melograno dolce, il corbezzolo, il mirabolano, progenitore del susino. La raccolta viene fatta a mano. Tra le specialità, la confettura extra di melograno e pistacchio, quella di fichi, vaniglia e rhum e pesche bianche con rosmarino. (Fabrizia Fedele) Go to page

    Cookies without butter and without eggs with White peach and Rosemary Extra Jam

    Mojito Bicerin (Yealds 8 servings)
    8 glasses
    500g Greek Yogurt
    1 jar of Mojito Cream Le Monfumine
    500g Fresh Strawberries (or other small fruits, as blackberries or raspberries)
    A few leaves of fresh mint
    Preparation:
    Leave in the refrigerator the Mojito Cream for about two hours, so that it gets colder. Rinse and cut into pieces the strawberries. Rinse the mint. Fill the glasses by 1/3 of greek yogurt. Create a thin layer of Mojito Cream and on top place the strawberries. Garnish with the fresh mint and serve cold.
    Cost: low. Time of preparation: 10 minutes.

    We believe that an excellent product can only come from a careful selection of the of the raw material that it is made of. For this reason we grow our fruits organically, harvesting them only when they are ripe, selecting them before making the jams.

    Natural products
    We believe we are what we eat. This is the reason that pushes us to grow our fruit as our grandparents did, in their gardens. Lots of care, passion, tenacity, and no chemicals. Sometimes we will not be able to offer the usual tastes, because mother nature is our law, and we can only observe what the earth gives us.

    Research and selection
    We choose only the most ancient and simple varieties of fruits as, although modern techniques give us excellent visual qualities of fruits, they lose tastefulness. The simple varieties have more intense flavors and aromas, and make our products superior.

    Simply bacause we love healthy, fresh and innovative tastes; we want to savour delights whenever we wish, choosing what suits us best.
